To
the Members of the Bartow Camp:
You are cordially invited to the
Lee / Jackson Banquet
The Oglethorpe Club
January 19th 2008
7:00 P.M.
Gentlemen, Our Annual
Lee-Jackson Banquet is coming up very quickly in January.
We’re planning another great event for you to enjoy.
This year we’re planning another musical program for you.
The program will feature the musical talents of Mr.
Jaime Kena who will be singing and
playing the “Love Songs” and Ballads from the period, including songs from
Stephen Foster.
I’m sure that you’ve heard the songs such as “Old
Folks at Home” and
“Jeannie with the Light Brown Hair”
but you’ve probably not heard them lately because of political correctness.
Many of his songs have been banned because of their reference to
“Darkies” being happy or they are sad because of the “Darky’s” master died

I will have to have an
exact count to the Oglethorpe Club by January 17th.
This is going to be a
wonderful evening. Please mark
January 19th on your calendar and…
Make plans to be
there!
Many Thanks to Gerry
Kincaid!
For those of you who
may be unaware, Gerry has worked hard and long to get a camp website up and
running. He has actually got one up
and working and can be seen at the following address:

Take a
minute to go and take a look.
You’ll be surprised at the amount of work he has put in.
The next time you see Gerry tell him “Many Thanks”!!
